Welcome to The Green Stitch Blog!

Hello and welcome to Green Stitch! My name is Rachel Berliner, and I started Green Stitch as a way to educate elementary schoolers about creative upcycling practices. However, environmental education does not end with elementary schoolers, and that’s why I am working with seven amazing high school writers to create the Green Stitch Blog. Together, we will be creating short posts each week about a new environmental topic, so that non-elementary schoolers have an opportunity to learn!

Here is what to expect from the Green Stitch blog! 

Starting February 3rd, 2025, a new blog post will be uploaded the Monday of each week. The content of the blogs will range from tips and tricks on how to lead a more environmentally-conscious life, reviews about “eco-friendly” products, insight on how industries, the arts, politics and the economy are affecting our planet, and much, much more!
